A man fell from the third floor of a building in Kerameikos on Nov. 27; firefighters freed him and he was handed to an EKAB ambulance and taken to Evangelismos for treatment.

Kerameikos — Fall from a Third-Floor Building

On the afternoon of Thursday, November 27, a man fell from the third floor of a building in Kerameikos at the intersection of Plataion and Agisilaou streets. According to initial reports, he landed on a landing on the first floor, which required the intervention of the Fire Service to free him.

Six firefighters with two fire engines arrived at the scene and succeeded in extricating the man, estimated to be 40–45 years old. He was handed over injured to an EKAB ambulance and, according to reports, is being transported to the Evangelismos hospital to receive first aid.
