Andreas Nikolakopoulos, chairman of the OPEKEPE investigative committee, told realfm 97.8 that Georgios Xylouris (“Frapes”) will be re-summoned in two weeks and that, if he fails to appear, the committee will seek forcible production and refer the matter to the prosecutor.

OPEKEPE Investigation: Committee to Call “Frapes” Again — Forcible Production Could Be Ordered

Andreas Nikolakopoulos, chairman of the parliamentary investigative committee probing OPEKEPE, told realfm 97.8 in an interview with hosts Giorgos Choudalakis and Giorgos Pagani that the committee will re-summon Georgios Xylouris, better known as “Frapes.”

Nikolakopoulos said that if Xylouris fails to appear again, the committee will take all legal measures available. “If he again does not appear, it will be inevitable to order his forcible production,” he stated. He added that the second summons is expected to be scheduled for the week after next.

The chairman emphasized that, aside from re-sending the matter to the competent prosecutor, the committee will not hesitate to request forcible production to ensure Xylouris appears before the committee (source: realfm 97.8).
